The garnishment checks are pay to the order of the creditors, not the law firm. This is a civil money judgment issued by the District Court in Colorado. I have never heard of the garnishee asking for a W9 form from the creditor’s attorney before & it doesn’t make any sense to me as the garnishee is not paying the law firm anything. The garnishee will not be issuing the law firm a 1099 or any other tax form.
also, during the beginning years of working at a law firm, do you have to walk late? What hours?

Its been a number of years in the same office, I do my best but still not get much attention from management despite the fact i have good educational background, very efficient, a smart personality & above all i know my work well but still I am pushed aside in a subtle way. Tha management has arrogance & attitude but certainly gives more attention to colleagues who are less experienced or keep a very low profile. I am obedient, work is my first priority, does not compromise on efficiency issues but still my boses do not encourage me. The boses are well of & so is the company. I am very cordial with all my colleagues & not loud or over confident. I really fail to understand why my capabilities are not acknowledged or I am given due attention. I have always been loyal to the company. There is always some kind of curtain between myself & management whereas they are cordial with other staff. Due to this attitude I have become a pessimist & loosing confidence & intrest. Whats the reason?
I went with her last weekend to Lake Tahoe and we had a wonderful time. Anyway even though I’m way below her “status” as a low paid clerical employee (girl Friday) she likes me a lot and has befriended me and my husband. She’s met him a few times before and thinks he’s a wonderful boy. My husband and I are both bisexual and he’s the “housewife” who stays home and does all the cooking and cleaning.
Ok, she gave her management firm notice that she was moving next month and we all agreed that she will move into our apartment becasue our rent is a lot cheaper.
Ok he’s kind of effeminate and likes to cross dress (usually only at home when he wears ALL FEM but he does wear clothing and shorts when he goes to the market or his therapty appointments that are not exactly feminine but not really what a masculine guy would even dream of wearing lol.
Should I agree to let him go with her this weekend. She says she wants to get to know him better. I am a little envious because even though she took me to a nice hotel last weekend in Lake Tahoe and she paid for everything and even though we has a Fabulous time she’s taking him somewhere that I only dreamed about ever going.
It’s in San Luis Obispo CA and is the place where young newly married couples go for a honey moon. I’ve been told that the rooms each have a certain motiff, large bathtubs suitable for a couple in love lol lol and lots of amenities.
I’m soooo jealous. Plus she wants him to “crossdress” and bring some of his sexiest clothing that he uses when he gets the urge to crossdress at home.
She also said that when she moves in with us that she thinks one of us should be “head of the household” and that should be her because she is a professional and makes more money then me. I will be responsible for paying the utilities and 25% of the rent out of my paycheck. She will pay for everything else such as food and give jamie a personal allowance so he could buy himself things that he wants. The rest of my paycheck will be mine to spend on myself.

When I say double as I mean can a law firm which has trail lawyers and business Lawyers/Corporate Lawyers also have a business side where Business Consultants operate out of and in calaberation with lawyers of the same firm? I think it would make a great contribution to the business world if there was such a company

Also, where can one find good help in the way of legal support staff in S. Fla.? It truely is hard to get good help!
Thank you to wyfclyon, just the insight i was hoping for, rather than taking, more like losing, time to discover this myself. The practice is business law and commercial litigation, condo law, associations, this area. Going through a changing face, a shift after many many years, as such the result will be a retireing partner and bookeeper. Staff and support restructuring too. I find that I am at a restructure crossroads and while I am proud to be a well respected lawyer; I cannot manufacture time for this support work, and I have felt the pain of trying to find capable and intelligent legal support candidates that can appreciate a long term opportunity. This problem of good help in S. Fla. I know to well.
Long explanation but now perhaps you know the whole story. Should anyone like to chime in, I welcome and appreciate the input.

I think that I have applied to every law firm in Indiana. I do not have any law experience, but how can I if no one will hire me. I have an Associate’s Degree in Business and now I am going for my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. I heard that it doesn’t matter what your degree is in.

I got 2 rejections from two really prestigious international firms (based in London)…I am in my second year going to thrid year and I study in London.
